ARCHITEXTURE Exhibition 2025

 

Do join us for our ARCHITEXTURE exhibition which is taking place from Friday 27 June to Sunday 29 June 2025.  

You will find us at:        Tithe Barn

Opening times :   Friday 27 June - 10:00 to 16:30
                            Saturday 28 June - 10:00 to 16:30
                            Sunday 29 June - 10:00 to 16:00

Expect to see traditional and contemporary textile art on a theme of architecture alongside other 2D and 3D pieces and featuring:

The Wall:

A collaborative piece made by YES members.  Each "brick" represents whatever gives them strength and stability and together represents the group's values of friendship, diversity and support.

Fairytale Competition:

A display of stitched postcards that each represents a fairytale.  Can you guess all the fairytales and win an M&S voucher for £25? Entry forms for the competition cost £1.

Dala Horse Carousel:

A fairground carousel with embroidered Dala horses.

Please note:

A proportion of the takings from the exhibition will be donated to St Leonard's Hospice and a further donation will be made to Fine Cell Work. 

St Leonard's Hospice provides care and support for terminally ill people, and people with life limiting illnesses, at their Hospice, at home, and in the community.

Fine Cell Work is a UK-based rehabilitation charity and social enterprise. For over 26 years they have been transforming the lives of prisoners and prison leavers, one stitch at a time.
