Meetings are held in Haxby Memorial Hall near York, at 10:30am on the first Saturday in the month unless the hall is unavailable, in which case an alternative date is found. Member-led stitch clubs and informal stitching in the morning, with a speaker or organised activity in the afternoon. The meeting finishes at 3:30pm.
There are four competitions a year, entries can be of any stitched media and are judged by a member vote.
March - A commercial design from a kit, book or magazine
June – Themed Competition set by the committee
September – The Ida Barber Trophy, awarded for an original design
Christmas – 2024 a Christmas card, 2025 a Christmas decoration
